Hi Ellen,

I know it kinda sucks, but what she did is I believe called theft or fraud. Have you thought about involving the police to recover your money? The relationship is certainly over, but I don't know why you should be out the money. Notifying your bank that the card was used fraudulently along with a police report should get the money replaced.
