Hi Everyone....I've been AWOL for many months now on this list, and am so delighted to see so much "traffic"! So, I guess I"m back.

Ralph, your post about the "close encounter" was fascinating, particularly since I'd experienced something very much like that a few years back. And, in that case, Josh Groban was a factor too...go figure. It was one morning, very early...I'd been sleeping with the radio on very low and awoke to Josh's singing "Out to Where you Are" and just thought it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever heard. Of course, I laid there in bed and wept...it was just too close to my still-distraught feelings. Music was the hardest thing on me for years after my husband Bill died...that's when I became a talk-radio junkie:)

Also, I shared your feeling about wanting to talk about him and have my friends do the same, yet there was, with most people, that awkwardness about saying the wrong thing. It's been eight years for me now, and has gotten much easier...time really does help. But, I still like talking about him...even if only to myself. :)

So...I'm ranting...glad to be back here and to "meet" all of you.

Abba
