Hi Fakena,My wife and I are completely renovating our kitchen this winter & we recently went to Coast Appliances here in Vancouver & while the show room is excellent I was irritated by a couple of things.1. They do not display any prices on the appliances which makes it necessary for you to be "assisted" by a customer rep. This is obviously a selling tactic but if I want to browse by myself I want prices displayed - I know that they'll do a package deal & we had previously got prices for some appliances but were now ready to buy & wanted the package deal price.2. Added to number one their were no sales staff available when we were there and after 15 minutes we left without anyone asking us if we required any assistance. The two receptionists were too busy chatting with one another to even notice.Of course I could have asked for assistance but when I thought of the service that we'd got in the competing stores I couldn't be bothered any more than they could be bothered with us. The competing store offered coffee from an espresso machine (from a model that they were selling of course) and continually plied us with foods & appetizers cooked on the premises. We were asked immediately if we needed assistance & low & behold prices were on all of the aplliances.Guess who got the not inconsiderable $$$ of business? In future I wouldn't even bother to comparison shop in Coast & would recommend anyone else to go to their competitorsWe're probably one in a thousand customers & it probably won't affect the share price but I hope others aren't similarly turned offRegardsPhilip
