Hi guys,This is the first time that I've posted on this board so excuse me for butting in to the middle of a heated thread. I just wanted to say that I think Corbetti is on the money in terms of la la's motivation. I'm a very worried that given the motive for sep was your prescence on the soil of SA, this latest military campaign will only further incense those who want to see your disengagement from the region. Since it now appears clear that the happy, clappy welcoming irqi theory was wishful thinking, it seems that this is going to be a long drawn out conflict. Worst case scenario? Stalingrad revisited. And you can bet your bottom dollar that all those horrific scenes of carnage that western tv doesn't show is being broadcast on a 24 hour basis over here. None of this is good news for you. It merely reinforces the way you are perceived in this region which is as an imperialist bully who arbitrarily enforces or ignores UN resolutions depending on the dictates of your foreign policy. This foreign policy also seems to mean that you pour vast amounts of money into regimes which claim to be allies, but are actually breeding hatred of the west. I don't feel very optimistic about the way things are panning out.
