Hi Kathy,

Are you absolutely sure she is healthy? Abdominal growths or blockages may force her to "let go" without much control over where or when.

When is the last time a vet checked her?

If you have established without a doubt that her plumbing is fine you can try a cage with a litter box.

A huge dog cage equipped with a blaket, litter box, foood and toys may prod her into appropriate toilet behavior.

Next time she goes, blot the spot with a paper towel and toss it into the litter box within the cage - after a day or so, she will realize that it is your intention to get her to use it for that purpose.

: )

Otherwise, is this a great cat or a PIA cat?

You may not be attached to her at all now that she has made your home yukky.

If that is the case ... put a free ad in the paper and mention that she "needs work". There is most certainly a cat lover out there would take on the challenge of training Darka.

How did you happen to adopt this pissy missy?
