Hi logixbean,

I will give my reasons for liking IBD.

First, I like the weekend in review. I can quickly check the highest RS stocks and this helps me form a list. Usually, these stocks are leaders in their particular industries or niche situations and are somewhat pricey. But they do eventually correct and make far better candidates for investment.

Also, I like their coverage of the tech sector. The tech sector is down now and I like keeping up with news, I am unlikely to get anywhere else. They do a very good job of covering breaking news in the industry better than anyone else that I can think of.

Their new America columns tend to discuss every big mover before the move becomes apparent to the rest of the investment community. These new America stocks don't necessarily do well in the short term though. Some may not do well at all, but very few big movers can be found that have not hit that page first.

I am not familiar with the Canslim method. So, I cannot give you advice there, but I do like the paper.

Of course, all of this is just my opinion. But I like the paper, considerably.
