Hi Mike,

Could they be cave crickets? They love basements. They are shaped differently from the Morman cricket. In my last home the basement was fully underground and there were hundreds of them on the walls. They love to just get on the wall and just hang there. Unless you disturb them they seemed to like to move very little. They have six legs but two long thingies that look like legs on their backside. If disturbed they can jump very high.
