Hi Phantomdiver:

I was cruising the boards and just spotted your post regarding teens & cruising. I, for one, believe this would be a really wonderful thing to do, and I can offer you a suggestion of a cruise line ... one that I use and have taken my children on ... and am planning to take my granddaughter on within the next 18 months. Specifically, it is Windjammer Barefoot Cruises out of Miami. The ships are all 200' - 350' in length. They only carry between 66 - 122 passengers.

I would suggest you go to www.windjammer.com and peruse their website ... which includes message boards for each of their ships (see Coconut Telegraph)

These cruises are frequented by all different types of folks, but most cruises consist of 1)married couples, 2) singles (NOT swingin' singles) and their ages range from 18/20 up to a few folks in their 80's.

Good luck on whatever you decide, and please feel free to email me if you have any specific questions I could answer.
