Hi Savery,

Charlie Munger's USC speech (OID reprint) is available from Berkshire home office. Just write them and ask. That's what I did. It's free.

His other speech, which I call the "foundations" speech is excellent too. It was my intro to Berkshire way of thinking. I owe Rickson9 quite a debt for his posting the link at his website.

Mostly to other people:

I don't think one "gets" Berkshire in a few minutes, but it does seem to just fit with my way of looking at things. Others ask and ask and it just isn't a fit for them. Maybe it's a cult, but to me it just feels like a business; I'm used to being a business owner or part owner. Some people fit well with certain businesses and not so well with others. To do what suits one is best.

In the old days Berkshire Hathaway was in the business of making suit liner fabrics, yes? Guess the company is still in the suits business, virtually.
