Hi Susan,

"Who makes the investment decisions and how money is spent?"

I make the investment decisions (that's not his thing)--we both make the spending decisions. Neither one of us is a spendthrift (we have to work too hard to earn our money!!) so excess spending is never an issue. However, large purchases are typically made jointly. We, too, have no debt, although we're a long way from working 3 days a week (seems more like 6 or 7 instead.) We do try to take 5-6 weeks a year off though. We find it very important in maintaining our sanity.

Do you partially live off of dividends? Or do you supplement your working income by selling stocks every once in a while? Don't mean to be nosey--just looking for a way out sooner and have my sights set on the market, too.

"Our office is a converted gas station from the early 70s. We made it into a 'filling station.'"
That's clever (ever think about a second career in advertising???) Nice to hear from you!
