Hi there...sounds like you're doing pretty well if you can save the max in both an IRA and a 401K...investing, saving, and retirement are personal matters...only you can figure out what you would like your retirement to be like....don't let anyone "tell" you how much to have your own life style, your own wants, needs and interests, only you know how much you CAN save.....for a better idea of what YOU need, check out some major financial fund companies, major banks, ect., most have calculating tools to help you visualize what you'll need in the years ahead....they will also give some tips about how to achieve those goals.....good luck...
