Hi TMF Taxes/Roy,

Thanks for the reply--long time (me) no post. I checked FAQ's and didn't see one re medical savings accounts, but don't go to any trouble on my account. Someone sent me a very helpful e-mail with links that has tons of info. And based on your reply, it doesn't sound too promising. I'm just annoyed because I thought I'd be getting a deduction after "bunching together" medical expenses this year, but I don't think I'm going to hit the 7.5% AGI threshold. The MSA sounded appealing, and may still after I read up on it, as I already carry a pretty high deductible. Dealing with health insurance is one of the more difficult and aggrivating parts of being self employed. In my state--Washington--you have almost zero options. Oh well... Thanks agian.
