Hi,

Whenever I got a bonus it has always been taxed at a much higher rate than my income tax bracket (28%). But, I have heard from friends who worked for different companies who did not experience the same type of highway robberies :-) Perhaps, it depends on how the "bonus" is paid out to the employee.

The difference, I believe, will not get refunded specifically, unless you have already overpay your tax as a whole or are able to come up with enough deduction to receive refund.

Mike
