Hibiscus are not full time sun lovers, i have mine positioned for about half a day or less of sun, the leaves wilt if they get too much sun.

hmmmmmm I'll have to scout around for's a beautiful plant but it's at the edge....a little corner close to sidewalk and gate with tall hedge of hollies...I want the hollies to just grow out. I stuck the hibiscus there a few yrs back or so because I didn't know where else to put it and time was moving on.

Full time shade would be bad too I suppose?
