Hires or re-hires, that depends how Ford sees it.

The bottom line is that 7000 new workers means that
the company expects to make money.

And now something interesting!

My girl friend and I, went looking for a new car for her.
We went to Toyota, Ford, Honda, Nissan and a couple more
Japanese companies.

We received a number of calls from a number of companies
except Ford.

I guess that either they are doing exceedigly well or
it's the policy of the dealership not to bother the
prospective customer.
