His statement is as bad as Bush not knowing how to use a scanner at the Grocery store.

To be fair, this story was a media invention. The truth is that Bush was shown a shopping cart filled with groceries and then a scanner rod was pointed at it and the whole order rung up. It was NOT a scanner like you see on the counter then or nowadays. This was pretty advanced stuff. But the media had something it could use to back up the story they wanted to tell about first President Bush being "out of touch."

And I never voted for any member of the Bush family. But truth is truth.
