Hmmm...

I'll have to see if I can find any. There are some citrus orchards locally (mostly orange and grapefruit). I know of an olive orchard out in Queen Creek. That's about it.

Lots of mesquite available, though. Lots. I have a pile in my yard right now, in fact. Looks gray and dry (which was 1poorlady's plan).

I have no wood chipper, though. If I were to use that wood I would probably need to break it into reasonable chunks that would fit in the WSM, put them in the ring, and then pile the coals around them. If I just laid them on top of the coals they probably wouldn't do much until all the coals were lit.

Our local best-BBQ-on-the-planet place uses pecan wood. No idea where they get it.
