Hmmm....I might risk a small position on Italian sovereigns if the yield was higher. While troubled, I see the Italian economy as being sounder than that of Greece. The Italians always seem to find a way to muddle through. (I think their move to the EURO 10 years ago was a big mistake however!) One can find yields about this high on conservative equities here in the US which have less risk, however, so the Italian sovereigns don't offer enough yield in exchange for the perceived risk IMHO.
