I can't find any px of the eggs of a House Finch. The top picture of the two you posted looks like a female house finch, the bottom not so sure but the light is different.

The description of the eggs of the HF is similar-sounding to the that of the wren---i.e. irregularly-shaped spots clustered on the end of the egg (the larger end).

The male HF has a lot of red on its head and chest--usually pretty. Look for him as well.
