Hmmmm. Then the only other thing that comes to mind is that they are a credit card company and they can be jerks if they want to be. It sounds like they have chosen that path.Not much of an explanation, but that is the only thing I can think of.They feel like they have you by the ... collar, and they can do whatever they want. I think they are not allowing you credit in hopes that you will run over and they can charge that "convenience charge".I wish I could be of more help.This is why I don't lower my limits. Whats the point? Think it may look better in the credit score? How do you know? The formula is a mystery. It might not matter at all.john
