I have an ADT system in my house that I've had for a little over 3 years. Recently, the one of the sensors has been setting off the system and we're having someone come take a look at it later this week, and it's going to be expensive. We replaced the battery in that sensor and thought it worked, but while my wife and I were out one day, it went off and set the alarm off. We are able to bypass that particular zone, so it's not much of a problem, but was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on what may be setting this particular sensor off. It shouldn't be the batteries since they were just replaced, but it will go off randomly and was really hoping there was a way I can fix it myself without having to pay someone to come and take a look, but I doubt I'll be able to do anything. Anyone have any suggestions?
