It's been 12 years since I've had to deal with the maze of hospital-related expenses. Back in 1994, I was able to 'unpleasantly' negotiate fairly reasonable payments to the facility until balance was paid in full.

Now in 2006, the hospital bill has selections of credit card payment for me to choose. Do I have an option here? Is it still an acceptable practice to contact the Billing Office in an attempt to set-up regular monthly payments versus interest-accrued credit cards?

many thanks in advance,
Apacherose
