So much for "momentum". I think too much is made of it. Sometimes streaks (good or bad) happen due to pure probability. Houston had a horrible streak going in and Cincinatti was clicking on all cylinders. What happen? Houston wins.

Ever been to a roulette wheel in Vegas? Ever notice occasionally, you'll see on the display board that 10 reds turn up in the last 10 spins. Now is this momentum? This is a purely random spin (if u trust the big casino). So what explains the 10 in a row red spins ? Is it momentum of "redness"? Or simply wild fluctuations from the turn and spin of probability. Yes believe it or not random chance of at can have a huge influence on games too. People always think skills trump all. No, if that were true the best team on paper would always win.
