I'm wondering how fellow foodies with allergies are faring these days.I'm doing well, especially when I behave myself and avoid gluten and lactose. I learned my limit of half & half (1/4 cup).I'm avoiding almost all processed food, although one can't be totally sure when one eats food prepared by someone else, whether a restaurant, dinner party, or street food. I'm also avoiding most canned food, even buying crushed tomatoes in jars now. But I'm buying almond milk, coconut milk and kefir--not to mention Pamela's GF baking mix, Food4Life GF english muffins, and GF raisin bread when I could make my own--but I'm trying to eat less carbs anyhow since my weight loss stalled (I've lost 40 lbs in the past few years, most of it over the past year...would like to lose at least 20 more).
