How exciting. Congrats on your first purchase. That's what I love about doing research. Having read enough that when you stumble across something unexpected, you have at least an idea if you're interested.

Many thanks for the term butler's pantry. I've been calling mine The Little Room. Butler's pantry is much nicer.

Do you have a formal dining room? Looks like it's set up where you can eat at the bar/butcher block counter. Just wondering which doorway any dining room is off.

Is the kitchen small or just oddly shaped? Doing anything with the cabinets or just floor and counter tops?

Your home looks lovely. Great to drive up to every night.
