How is this the members responsibility? Should a member assume that the union is getting a kickback on ever recommendation? Should my wife have ask, "hey, how much are they paying you to recommend this company?" Why would any normal person assume such is occuring?

My wife is an insurance adjuster and she's always harped about "What woudl a reasonable and prudent person do?". I have to agree with you when applying this test, what is there about this that would cause a reasonable and prudent person to be suspicious, given no other information. Answer: nothing. It's a surprise to everyone that the law is writtin with such a big legal loophole to allow collusion against the fundholders' best interests.

I frankly don't understand why you seem to be so flipant and uncaring about how the captive audience of teachers are being treated on this issue.

This one has me puzzled, as well.
