This is a stoopid question but I get nervous about potentially eating bad good and getting sick.
Picked up hot potato skins from local joint today (melted cheese, cooked bacon all over it).
They've been sitting out of the fridge 6 hours.
Am I being paranoid or is the cheese and bacon still ok to eat?
After all a pepperoni pizza stays out days after we get it and we eat it fine?

I would eat them after heating them up in a microwave or toaster oven. Nuke the hell out them and they'll be fine.

I can't say because:
(a) pizza leftovers, at most, last until the next morning around here.
(b) if it has pepperoni on it, as far as I'm concerned it isn't food.

Aside from being inedible due to being so badly overcooked.
