Remember Burma Shave signs?http://wandascountryhome.com/remember-when/index.htmlcliff... Older than dirt.
Cliff,Yeah, and I remember the riding the old red cars that ran between LA and Santa Monica when I was a kid. It was especially neat to sit in the front when the car turned north at Venice for its run up the coast to Santa Monica; it seemed as though the car swung way beyond the rails.I'll be 70 this month and it seems life has never been better, but there were good things even during the war years -- WWII, that is.db
Don't know if this was an actual Burma Shave sign set or just something my folks made up for us kids:"Spring has sprung,The grass is riz,Where last year'sCareless drivers is."
Those were actual Burma Shave signs, which I remember very well! Chris
