I have an antique tiger oak dining table. I've been needing a cabinet to put my dishes in. I've been working on a cabinet using given to me free stuff or stuff I already had here.

I have looked at china cabinets and just didn't want to pay the price that they charge for a tiger oak one.

Today there was a classified ad for an antique china cabinet in the paper. I got there an found the ugliest paint job on a china cabinet I've ever seen. It was a sage green sand paint but the price was right, and I thought it'd look good painted white if it looked really bad under the paint.

I started stripping it earlier and here's the really weird part. Under 3 of the ugliest colors of paint, I find tiger oak. I can't wait to get the whole thing finished now.
