However, while there was and is plenty of blame to spread around among local, state and federal officials (and, by the way, let's please forget political parties in this, if we can), I still cannot understand how a news network COULD get to that overpass we saw so often -- and the Convention Center -- where there were HUNDREDS or even THOUSANDS of people in those couple of specific places, and yet NO ONE could get water, food, or essentials to them, while some of them DIED there while the days went by!

The Red Cross claims the governor kept them out. Apparently the governor had a reason for letting the media in but keeping the aid out. I wonder if she made the media promise not to bring extra water in.
