A Chasselas-Muscat hybrid white wine grape grown primarily in the Rheinhessen region of Germany. Used for sweet white wines that meet Auslese Pradikat standards in better vintages.
Approximately 1600 acres planted in the world - mainly in Germany but some planted in UK. Hybridized in the 1920s by Fritz Huxel.

I agree with Mark M., these wines get very expensive quickly. I have not had this particular variety, will add it to my list (207 varieties and counting)
