So, over on CampFire, they have their panties in a twist today because of "liberal busybodies who are not content unless they are controlling every aspect of our life" and need to "further their wacko agenda" by forcing everyone to "purchase those tiny little toilets that can't flush their way out of a paper bag."

Harumph!

CampFirers rant...

I believe that liberalism starts with small-mindedness and a lack of curiosity/mental effort... Um, this will become ironic shortly.

You can still feel good that you are a good citizen in compliance with the progressive left's dictates over your bowel movements and hold your head up high.

Let's talk light bulbs and fireplaces next.

Now which liberal is responsible for the low flush toilet dilemma?

Wait for it...

In 1992 President George H. W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act. This law made 1.6 gallons per flush toilets standard. This law went into effect in Jan 1, 1994 for residential buildings and Jan 1, 1997 for commercial building where it cannot consume more than 1.6 gallons per flush.

My, oh my... that liberal busybody George H. W. Bush.

Extra special irony: George W. Bush is the pinko who signed the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 that turned the lights out on incandescent light bulbs.
