I agree that some debt can be good. When my wife and I got married last May, we took about $6000 of debt to have the honeymoon that we really wanted along with a nice reception at an old fashioned southern inn. If it wasn't for my good credit we could not have done it. We too, bit the bullet after our honeymoon and paid off the debt in about 8 months. If you set a goal and stick with it credit can be your friend, but don't let it become the friend that we all have had or still have that is always looking for money.
