I also have been receiving the nag screen that it is time to upgrade over the past week or so. They offer a "deal" for loyal customers where they knock off $20 and will ship it to you for free. I clicked through this just to see what they were charging. The regular price for Quicken 2009 Premier was $89.99, so they were "only" gonna charge me $69.99. You can pick this up just about anywhere for that price.

So I went to eBay and won it last night for $46.50 plus $3.99 shipping. This is a sealed retail package. I watched a few auctions and saw it go as cheaply as $40 and "buy it now" options as much as $95 so buyer beware.

In 2006 I bought the premier version for $23.90 and shipping so the price has really jumped for what you get. Still, I figured I'd pass this on to fellow Fool's.

Kurt
