I am a bit disappointed. A few years ago, I worked with a national tax preparation service, and the quality of a majority of the tax preparers was sadly lacking, even though they took the required classes and passed the service's final exam. When it came time to prepare the returns themselves, the preparers took short cuts, did not verify all the info, etc. I finally decided that it was not worth it to me, primarily due to the fact that I made too much money as a real estate paralegal and my notary services.
