I am a former smoker - started at age 14 and continued until about age 46 ... quit literally hundreds of time ... and the quit that I started in June of 2001 is still holdiing up ... and the most important resource for me was this web site:http://www.quitnet.com/Lots of resources, encouragement, everything you need to quit, outside of what is going on in your brain and body ... Start with the firm belief that cigarette smoking is an addiction that makes you lie to yourself and others about the "joys" of smoking ... when you can honestly recognize that you are not "giving up" something of value, but insted dealing with a powerful addiciton, then you are on your way.Good luck to you.Doug Humes
