I am a middle manager at MCC and know quite a lot
about the corporation. Haven't been able to figure
out why it isn't valued much higher. It should be.
Growth company at least as much as possible in
such a mundane industry. Very low p/e coupled with
long term higher demand for product. Low debt.
Aquisitions and still with a lot of cash. Been around
for 50 years as co-op. Only went public three or
four years ago. New ammonia plant in Trinidad with
lucrative floating gas price. Largest potash reserves
in USA. Strong in nitrogen fertilizer, which is probably why it's beaten down. However, also has
significant DAP production, which is profitable.
Once all the expansions unwind. Watch out.
