Just a polite heads up to all you SOLD investors out there. I'd like to tell a true story and let you all take what you will from it.

I am a real estate agent in Scottsdale, AZ and signed up for Housevalue's service last November. I played by all the complicated rules and got certified in their system.

After six months I have never received one legit lead for a customer. I spent $750 per month and got $25 a month service. The leads didn't have phone numbers, they had fake names and many of the leads were already working with another agent.

I just cancelled my service today and won't be going back. I told the customer rep on the phone I was leaving and refusing to pay the cancellation fee because the service I was sold was not delivered. Then she mentioned the name of the sales rep that sold me back in November and mentioned she is top sales person every month. So I asked the rep after chuckling a little and said, I'll bet she also has the highest cancellation rates and non-renewals.

Anyway long story short, take it from a SOLD customer who say the inner workings of Housevalues: The service stinks and would guess SOLD will fold by the end of 2006.

Happy house hunting!
