I am a teen, and I only have a few thousand dollars invested, but i was wondering if there was anyway that i could place covered calls on my investments, or if someone could explain covered calls to me better.

Hi Andersol,

That is great that you've started investing. The market is going through some very tough times right now so it must be a challenge for you to "hold the course".

When you have only a small amount of money invested, many times any earnings you may have gotten are eaten up in fees. Also, I assume the money you have invested won't be needed for anything for the next five years and you've paid off any high interest debt you may have.
