I am a very successful Realtor. I am also a subscriber to many of the Motley Fool newsletters. I would not buy this stock!! SOLD

There are several companies such as Housevalues that have tried to insinuate themselves into the increasingly competitive Real Estate industry, and have tried to hone in on taking a part of the real estate business from Realtors and then in effect selling it back to them. The real estate industry has gotten very competitive and commissions are squeezed from many sources including companies like Housevalues.

As a Realtor who has a highly ranked website, and gets many leads from the Internet, I can assure you that the number of leads that you have to go thru in order to get a really good one is substantial. The conversion rate is probably less than 5%, and most Realtors who would try a company like Housevalues or Homegain or whoever would probably not stay on as repeat customers.

I would avoid this stock personally or put it on my radar screen as a future short sale.
