I am all in favor of losing weight in a healthy fashion but she does not appear healthy in those pictures and the concern is that she may have strayed from overeating to anorexia.

I'm not in favor of people developing eating disorders either. However, I stand by the idea that this was a fierce competition and she was determined to win. The only way she was going to be able to do it was to drop additional weight after the triathlon. David, her closest competitor, lost more than 52% of his starting weight. She had to bring it to take home the prize.

At least, it is in the comments I have seen.

I agree that there were a lot of comments that seemed to show concern, but I've also seen an equal number that seemed downright harsh. People saying she's "sickly", "boney", I even saw some comments where people were saying that she shouldn't be "allowed" to win because she lost so much weight. Really? In a competition where the rules state that the winner is the finalist who lost the highest percentage of weight, not overall pounds, people think she should be disqualified for playing the game better than everyone else?

Her trainer finally made a statement about it, and I was glad to see that he focused on her journey to health and pointed out that her journey isn't over. I feel certain that she'll add a few pounds back now that the finale is over.
