I am digging this year's race. I like the cobbles and rain. I like aggressive descents. I like seeing guys who can ride their bikes in other conditions than straight uphill w/ promises of no attacks if they forget how to shift. I do wish Contador didn't fall on his face on a nice sunny day though.

I think <Cavendish> and Kittel are more even matched nowadays

I think until Cav shows up I have to assume the torch is passed. Weird that Sagan can't win a stage though. That was a crazy accident though, it looked like Cav butted (Gerrans?) aside but then he bounced back into Cav off the guy he got butted into. Risky game playing high speed billiards if you don't know what else things might ricochet from.

Teejay Van Garderen said as much the other day that he wasn't going to do anything but wait until the TT. Tends to make for pretty boring races with one team setting a blistering pace up the climbs while everyone watches everyone else.

Now I like Tejay even less!
