I am going to retire in a month. Any opinions on which mutual funds I should sell and which to keep to buy muni bonds. I currently own CWGIX,
AGTHX,TEDIX,LAFFX,ANWPX,ABALX,TWEIX,CAIBX,AIVSX,PRWCX with the most money in AGTHX and LAFFX. The rest have equal amounts in them. Any opinion would be appreciated.

well, it is good you are asking this question now, but it would have been better, if you started earlier, not 1 month before retirement

one more thing - it would be really helpful to post BOTH fund name and symbol, because there are too many funds, and I for example, can recognize only two, TWEIX and PRWCX , I would think, they are pretty good funds you can keep, especially, PRWCX since it is king of balanced fund, but all I say does not make sense until we know all other funds, and other assets - do you have some cash, CDs, bonds now?

Another thing, if you will be in 28% tax bracket in retirement, Muni bonds are not necessarily better than government (or other high quality) bonds,
actually, there are rare cases, when they are better for everybody, but I believe, usually they are definitely good only for those with 33% and higher
