I am in (depending on who you ask) south-northern or north-central Jersey (there seems to be confusion in the state at to whether my county is considered 'north' or 'central' NJ. :)

I need to dig up a water bill. I know that I have been averaging about $30 a month prior to the summer

I am surprised no one asked at the beginning - you are getting other peoples' experiences in other places. Having lived in Central PA and currently living in Colorado, I wouldn't have even thought you needed a sprinkler system.

Also, where I live, the more water you use after the base, the higher the unit price. Again, I am surprised you didn't consider where the bill would be with a sprinkler system. Maybe you'll be using a sensor system so the cycle doesn't occur unless necessary ?
