I am new to this board, having bought BSX @ $18.44 just a few sessions ago.
I hope it is okay for me to try and contribute to this thread.
I think it is important and constructive to concentrate on the most important recent event(s):
The Nicholases and other Insiders bought about $1.5 Million worth of shares with their own money just during the month of July, not to mention earlier, albeit smaller, buying going back to 11/9/99:

The Insiderscores.com site rates Insiders based on how their stocks performed after they bought/sold. This site shows that BSX Insiders have a rather high rating based on their past trading performance:

I have taken the plunge with BSX mostly based on this Insider Buying, which is public info by law; however, I am not in the medical profession and have no way of finding out what it was that made them buy.
With so many surgeons and physicians on this board, for which I consider myself fortunate and am thankful, I would think that somebody knows a Hospital/Insurance Company Administrator/Purchasing Agent or two, who might have some clues, if not the actual reason for these Insider Buyings.
Thank you for allowing this scrawl!
