I am not at all a tax expert. But I *have* lived in at least 12 different cities, in maybe half-dozen states, over the years. And I've *never* paid "city taxes". Now, if I'm there and in a hotel -- there's room taxes, and what we like to call in my resort area, "tourist sucker taxes", and sales taxes...But if you're not physically there spending the money right then...you don't have to file anything to pay it later...It will be interesting to see if any of these tax gurus knows more!
