I am not sure if my company started off with MetLife or Travelers. We are now with John Hancock. I purchased my LTI when I was in my sixties. I chose the three years/$100 a day (which of course won't cover). I will self insure the rest. I believe that you are given the opportunity to upgrade every five years. I did not the first time because the upgrade was sooo expensive. I pay $86 per month. Probably will never upgrade.
