I am not sure that DDD is a fit for Apple. Apple is primarily a consumer products company. DDD sells printers primarily to industry. Also Apple likes home-grown products and emphasizes internal development. If Apple were to get into 3D Printing, I suspect they might buy a small consumer 3D Printer company with good technology and 'Applify' the products.
