I am now an even stronger proponent of ALICE training

It may be a sad fact that it's an option.

I believe weapons training should become required for 8th grade graduation.

We'll have to disagree on this. Many people, not just kids, should not handle guns. Many people have religious objections to weapons training of any sort.

Denying either category graduation because they did not train with firearms is absurd.
