I am retiring and will be receiving a pension. I have another job. I currently have 3 IRA's. I do not need any income from my portfolio at this point. I will remain in "saving mode" for as long as possible.

Should I just leave the IRA's alone or is there something safer I should do? I don't feel comfortable locking my money into a Life Annuity although that is what all of my fellow retirees did. I am not a Lemming

But I am no financial wiz either - I have just been saving since I was 19.

Advice?

tho not a wiz -- being here indicates you want to learn

annuities are dangerous ,IMO

you might want to combine the IRAs into one ( I did, maybe there are reasons not to)

if you tell us what you're now invested in with the IRAs maybe we can give some ideas....

,?? as investor: how busy do you want to be? how risky do you want to be?
